Board of Directors

The people that live in the Rincon service area govern the Municipal Water District through an elected Board of Directors.  The Municipal Water District Law of 1911 provides for a five-member board, each representing the Division in which he or she resides.  The District holds an election for the Director offices every two years.  The terms are staggered so that each Director serves a term of four years.  At the first meeting in January of each odd numbered year, the Board can elect one of its members as the President and Vice-President.  The President then appoints a secretary and treasurer.  To meet our Board of Directors, click here.

Historical Slate of Directors and General Managers

Many dedicated and talented individuals have served on the Board of Directors and as General Managers since the organization of the District on February 19, 1954.  We will always keep them close to our hearts and appreciate their efforts that have allowed Rincon to provide a safe and reliable water source for the Greater Escondido Valley.  To view our historical slate, click here.
