Why is a fee added for credit card payments?
The costs associated with processing credit cards continues to grow each year, and the District wants to continue to offer the option to pay by credit card. Unfortunately, the District cannot absorb these costs. In order to address a $50,000 annual drain on its budget, the District made changes in the way credit card payments were accepted by passing the cost of credit card processing along to those using the service. The fee covers the cost of processing credit and debit card payments.

Is the fee refundable?
