Harmony Grove Test Wells

The District has been engaged in groundwater basin analyses in the Harmony Grove area for over the past year. Previous work has included initial studies to determine the rough characteristcs of the basin, including specific yield and total storage capacity estimates and water quality sampling. This subsequent phase of work includes the installation of 4 monitoring wells in the Harmony Grove area and will help refine previous estimates and further define the groundwater basin characteristics through geologic profile logging and testing for well production capacities, hydraulic conductivity, and porosity.

This project was awarded to Tri-County Drilling, Inc. in December 2011 and drilling has been completed. Final well testing on Progress Place will be completed by early May 2012.
