North Broadway Pipeline Extension Project
The Laurashawn service area is currently supplied water from the Valley Center Municipal Water District (VCMWD). The purpose of this Capital Improvement Project is to convert the feed to the District's ID 1 service area. This project will also increase fire flow capacity and install an emergency interconnection with VCMWD. The project consists of approximately 7,000 feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch piping in North Broadway, North Avenue, and Laurashawn Lane. This project is currently under design and construction is estimated to begin at the end of 2012. See link below for a site map depicting the project area.
