Water Rates, Fees & Charges

The current water rates and monthly surcharges were adopted by the District’s Board of Directors on June 28, 2011 and became effective on September 1, 2011.

Residential customers are charged for potable water usage via an inclining tier structure as depicted below. Customer’s who do not exceed the first tier (1 to 6 units) are eligible for a Frugal User discount, which is equivalent to a 30% reduction to their applicable Systems Charge.

 

Residential Water Rates 

One unit is equal to 1,000 gallons

  Tier 1

  1 to 6 Units

  $4.17 per unit

  Tier 2

  7 to 20 Units

  $4.30 per unit

  Tier 3

  21 to 35 Units

  $4.51 per unit

  Tier 4

  36 to 45 Units

  $4.83 per unit

  Tier 5

  46 Units or More

  $5.26 per unit

 

Systems Charge  

Based on meter size, typical residential meters are 5/8 or 1 inch in size

  5/8” Meter

  $22.91 per month

  1” Meter

  $30.52 per month
