Rincon Hires New General Manager

The Rincon del Diablo Municipal Water District Board of Directors is pleased to welcome its new General Manager, Mitchell Dion.  Serving as the District’s 6^th General Manager since 1954, Dion takes over for Annette Hubbell who retired in January after serving as General Manager for almost seven years.  

With both public and private sector experience, Dion has managed and operated municipal water and wastewater systems in Washington, California, Hawaii, Arizona, and Texas.  Prior to joining the Rincon family, Dion oversaw the management and operations of potable and wastewater systems for Douglas County, Nevada.    

Dion’s immediate objective is to be proactive in fostering local culture and to address water resources to meet the community’s needs.  “It is my goal to promote excellence in customer service, keep water rates as low as possible, and ensure the delivery of high quality water,” he said.
