Water Quality |
||||
| Rincon is dedicated to
serving safe, reliable and high quality water to our customers. During
the year 2006, our drinking water met or exceeded all state and federal
government drinking water standards. Due to geographical reasons, Rincon's potable water supplies come from two sources, with each source serving a distinct area . The same is true for some City of Escondido water customers. As such, and to more efficiently serve their customers, both Rincon and the City work jointly to develop an annual Consumer Confidence Report . This report shows what constitutes your water and compares those constituents to all state and federal drinking water standards. For the purpose of determining your water source, it is not necessary to consider to which agency you pay your water bill. Instead, you can download the CCR using the link to the right. Once the report is downloaded, locate your water service area on the map. If your services is located in the yellow area, you will need to review the data in the report that is listed in the yellow column. The same methodology applies if your service address is located in the blue area of the map. |
